Welcome...

Brigitte RozarioI'm a journalist in Malaysia. I am currently with The Star, an English daily, as portal head of the ParenThots website.

I joined The Star in 1989, and was a reporter and sub-editor for the features section of the newspaper, Section 2 (since renamed StarTwo) for six years.

Since 1996 till 2005, I had risen in ranks from Sub-Editor to Chief Sub-Editor and then to Assistant Editor with the IT pullout, In.Tech.

I left The Star in 2005 to spend more time with my family. That was when I was freelancing. I returned to The Star in August 2007 when I joined the New Media desk, working closely with the News desk.

In December 2008 I transferred to the New Media Dept where I was put in charge of developing The Star's new portal for parents - named ParenThots.

I have written and edited technology news and features, software and hardware reviews, book reviews, personality profiles, editorials, and various stories on sports and humour.

In my free time, I created and developed a children's website called Beebo & Friends. The self-penned stories are about a little boy named Beebo, who lives in DeliLand, and often gets into all sorts of trouble.

I also have a football blog - SpotKick.net.
